Overseen by the BAY team, the East Bay Regional Coalition is comprised of members of municipal prevention coalitions and other community stakeholders from Barrington, Bristol, East Providence, and Warren.
The Coalition views prevention through a broad lens that accounts for similarities and differences between cities and towns, incorporates holistic health promotion and substance misuse prevention strategies across the lifespan, and coordinates media and events that endeavor to increase collaboration and sustain prevention activities across the region.
Strengthening Families Program
Strengthening Families Program is an evidence-based program designed for families with youth ages 12-17 that is recognized both nationally and internationally. The program teaches communication skills, emotional skills, and parenting skills for families.

The East Bay Regional Coalition provides training for the community in mental health awareness and crisis de-escalation to connect more people to needed resources. The project serves the communities of East Providence, Barrington, Warren, and Bristol.
We have several different programs to teach people about mental health and how to respond to someone who is having a mental health challenge.
